Dress Code:
Morehead Middle School's dress code is designed to promote a safe, respectful and positive learning environment. The following dress code will be implemented for the upcoming school year:
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices:
Cell phones, MP3 players, along with other electronic devices are not allowed to be used on campus during the instructional day and will be confiscated if they are seen, heard, or used anytime during the school day. A parent will need to recover the phone or electronic device from the office. The school assumes no responsibility for confiscated electronic devices, including cell phones, that are lost or stolen.
Tardiness:
Tardies interrupt the classroom environment and interfere with the learning of other students. Students are considered tardy if they are not inside the classroom when the tardy bell rings. When a student is more than 10 minutes late to class, the student will be counted absent for that class.
